Volvo North American trucks adopt LED headlights and LED interior lighting

The application of automotive LED lighting has gradually matured. With the rising awareness of energy saving, the penetration rate of LED automotive lighting has also increased year by year. Volvo announced that its North American VNL and VNX truck models will be equipped with LED headlights and LED interior lighting products. Compared with incandescent lamps in the past, the energy consumption is only 1/8, and it has the advantage of long life.

Through the expansion of the light beam and the effect of the color similar to the daytime, the goal of greatly improving the visibility is achieved. The lens of this LED headlight is also coated to achieve the effect of preventing fog and yellowing.

Volvo also exposed the standard interior LED lighting used in the VNM, VNL, VNX, VHD and VAH series, emphasizing that LED interior lighting has a longer life than traditional bulbs and reduces the consumption of truck batteries. It is also currently used in interior lighting. The application of the reading light of the company expands the red LED products, in order to strengthen the reading lighting function in the car at night.
