The use effect of led tail lights

24 v bus tail light

This modification of led tail lights can improve the brightness of the light to a certain extent, but the effect is limited. The power load of the circuit, switch and power supply increases seriously, the heat energy of the bulb increases, and the temperature of the lamp cup increases, which easily leads to overloaded combustion of the circuit and switch, accelerates the mercury aging of the lamp cup, causes the lamp cup to melt and deform, and may even cause a fire accident.

The most common failure is that the contacts of the headlight combination switch burn after a period of time. Because the power of the LED tail light bulb increases, the current of the line will increase exponentially. When the original line (resistance) remains unchanged, the voltage loss of the line, that is, the power loss, will increase geometrically, and the voltage across the headlight will decrease, resulting in an increase in line load. So for the sake of safety, while changing the power of the bulb, the circuit should also be modified to a certain extent: install the relay control, take electricity directly from the battery, and increase the heat dissipation at the rear of the headlight. Otherwise, LED taillights will not only significantly increase the brightness of the light, but also increase the safety hazard.
